I’ve had another kettle for many years, but recently I noticed that the water boiled in it started to have a taste. I discovered that it was due to the aging plastic and rubber inside. I was really worried about the potential health risks, so I quickly bought a new one, making sure it didn’t have any rubber or plastic components. I checked some local stores, but the fully metal and glass kettles were around $150, which is quite expensive. So I returned to Amazon and found this one at a reasonable price. At first, I was a bit unsure about the quality, but after using it for a month, I find it both attractive and practical. I’m really satisfied with it.

Love the size, functions and the ease of use. After a month of usage, the glass cracked around the metal band at the kettle neck due to sudden temperature change. My learning is not to wash the pot right after boiling. Let it sit and cool down in room temperature before washing.

I have tried many hot water pots before. This is the best so far.
The wide mouth is open completely, and the top can be removed, so it is very easy to cook and clean.
The pot body is glass, so it does not create any odor. It is the best healthy cooking pot choice with many functions.
Although the boiling water time is slightly longer than that of some similar products, it is still faster than a traditional oven-top water kettle.
I would like to see how long it will last.

If your contertop space is limited, then this kettle is highly recommended. Compared to my old kettle, this kettle saved 25% space. In addition, this kettle come with extra parts to help you make the perfect boiled eggs and tea. It even preset different temperature to make green tea, black tea, and Oolong tea. I love this kettle.

Quality is well made. I purchased the larger capacity version and it’s plenty of liquid for two people. It’s so easy to use. I fill it up with water and press the ‘Soup’ button. Once the water boils up, I slowly throw in the ingredients and let it make the soup. Once it’s done, it goes to keep warm mode for a period of time. You can also schedule it to start boiling a number of hours from now. There are many different modes for cooking different things. It even comes with loose tea leave infuser if that’s what it’s called. Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with this product.

I mostly used this to make tea without the included tea strainer for a few months. I prefer to strain it after through a handle strainer. Recently I used the included strainer a few times and by the third use it snapped into two pieces, with sharp edges. Basically the ring that holds it in place pulled off the straining cylinder. It looks like it is supposed to be held by several mini spot welds, but whatever they did was cheap and didn’t work. That part is useless now, and even worse, it has sharp metal edges. I’m glad I was the one who discovered that it was broken. If I was using this around kids they might have been cut by the exposed sharp metal edge. I searched for a way to contact the manufacturer to request a replacement part, but neither themselves nor Amazon provide a way to get in contact. I also could not find any website with contact info. I am still using it as a hot pot without the broken part. But, based on this experience I would not recommend this product or manufacturer. Not for something that breaks so easily especially with no method at all to request customer service.

Great tea kettle with extra functions. Only downside is that it is not quick. It takes a while to come up to temp, but the keep warm function is definitely a plus.
