I so look forward to having my Irish Breakfast Tea
in the morning using this “Genius ” Little Kettle.
I say Genius because it is a multitask er, it’s light
and so easy to clean. Perfect for traveling because
the size is very compact, will fit easily in a carry on.
This Little Powerhouse is a definite keeper and quiet, you
can hardly hear it boiling which is wonderful.
Shuts off by itself and keeps the water warm for awhile.
I have been looking and looking for something like this and so
glad I finally found it.
I will say it is worth buying just to have it
because it is very, very useful in other ways.
Plus I do think that a ceramic coating is brilliant
and should be applied to all stainless steel kettles because
it is so much easier to clean and takes no time at all.

This one does it all! I’ve been looking for ages for something just to keep my coffee warm at the table, all my coffee cups don’t have flat bottoms to work with the low voltage cup heating devices so I can’t use those, well this amazing cup does that and more. In the past two weeks I’ve made cups of hot water for noodle soup, teas and instant oatmeal’s, I’ve cooked tomato soups, pea soups, clam chowder and beans, I’ve melted butter, made gravy, even tried a poached egg! This cup is worth its weight in gold. Heats up quickly, simmers beautifully, works off my 300 and 600 watt AC portable power bank. Very easy to clean. The surface is extremely non-stick. Small enough to store right on any shelf. It turns itself off safely using the timer/simmer function or in a safe time after reaching desired temperature. I only wish the cord was longer and a temperature display would be nice as well. If you don’t have one of these on your desk or table, your not quite ready for winter! lol. I love this one. Next I’m gonna try melting chocolate, maybe even making a single biscuit. Worth a shot. You will not be disappointed and at a very budget minded price. The cup retains heat well, It keeps things warm for a while after its powered off, no more cold soup after a couple spoons full. I’m also curious if this can be used for scented oils or like a Vic’s evaporator

It is cute and small, the only problem is it is too small, can barely heat up a single cup of water for coffee or ramen. It didn’t have a lip for pouring water out without having it run down the side. This would probably be good to use as a drinking mug that you can heat up.

This is an update to my previous review: The customer service is really good. They sent me replacements and keep following up with my experience. The two replacements still work great after about 2 weeks on a daily-use base. You need to be very careful and gentle when use/clean the product. I don’t use the kettle to cook anything contains oil or sticky, and only use wet cloth to wipe the inside after each use. It fits my purpose and I really like the product for its functions, size, and look,

The actually bought two while it was on sale. The inside coating started to chip off after a few use. The other one failed to function properly after about a month’s use.

Update: After using this little mug for a couple of weeks I noticed there were dark spots on the bottom. I wasn’t worried about scratches because I never use metal implements on coated cookware. It appears the ceramic coating is just flaking off in places after less than a month of use. I have no idea what the metal underneath is, but it’s definitely not stainless steel. I’m lucky enough to have this happen during the extended Christmas return window, otherwise I’d be stuck with it. So Amazon still gets their stars, and hopefully somebody will make a mug like this that is safe to drink out of in the near future.
I bought this on a whim because I have a terrible cold. It is perfect and I love it. I’m currently drinking cinnamon cardamom tea out of it, yesterday it made curry soup and now tea, the day before that it was egg and lentil soup and also more tea.
To clean it out I just fill it with water and a spray of 7th generation dish spray, let it boil, and rinse it out. The ceramic interior is very easy to clean and it’s the perfect size. I may get one more for the kitchen so this lil guy can be a permanent resident of my nightstand.
Eventually I’ll have to try to make a soft boiled egg in it. The eggs in my lentil soup cooked perfectly.

UPDATE: The seller swiftly replied and sent a replacement the following day. If this replacement functions smoothly, I can confidently endorse the product for its convenience, durable materials, rapid heating capability, and compact, portable design.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I feel I’ve wasted my money. It initially operated smoothly upon arrival; however, after a week of gentle use, it unexpectedly ceased to turn on with no indication of why it malfunctioned. I can only assume a manufacturing flaw. Unfortunately, there seems to be no recourse for returning it since it’s used.

Got this for a friend who is often times in and out of the hospital, and hates hospital food. The cup is easy to pack, lightweight, easy to use, and easy to clean! All you could ask for!
It fits a pack of bag ramen, and heats up quickly. The lid is great for keeping spills/splashes to a minimum. It can also be used just to heat up water to use for separate mini meals, like mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, etc.
The ceramic coating is super easy to clean on the go. Typically, a rinse and wipe is good enough almost every time. No issues with staining or weird smells.
The only thing that I found a bit strange is the power supply being a rather unique kind of plug. Works just fine, although if something happens to the wire I feel like it’d be a hassle to replace.
In comparing it to other hot cups that are available, I think this one is a great value for the price and compares well to others! My friend is delighted to not have to eat mushy, unseasoned food 24/7!
