    I was very excited to use this as i needed something travel size to warm my food as i travel alot. But in just one use the coating came off.

    I needed a small rice cooker for cooking steel cut Irish oats. This is a small programable rice cooker and will cook steel cut oats perfectly. It allows for cooking time and hold temperature to be programmed nothing seems to burn due to the computer chip holding the temperature precisely.

    Perfect size for cooking lunch in the office. The rice and stew (both with adjustable timer) are all I needed.
    Update: when I finally get to use the rice setting, it doesn’t seem to have enough power to cook, though the display showed it quickly reached 100°C, then maintained at 95. I ended up switching to stew setting for 35min, which showed maintaing at 100°C.

    The seal for power port is tight enough. I can safely wash in the sink.

    Taking off one star as the coating is not very sturdy. I scratched the inside when a small cup was wedged in and it took some effort to get out. Also recently I noticed a crack at the lip. So far they have not affected the cooking.

    === Update 27 July 2024===
    Once the seller found out I had an issue, they sent me a new one without any question. The product work pretty good, and make sure there is no chip on the coating when you receive your order.

    =====

    I bought this in late of June, and find it is easy and convenient to use. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to last long as you can see from the picture, the top rim already start chipping. I even avoid using metal utensils.
    I mainly use it to boil water when travel. But recently I use it to cook rice, congee, soup, and noodles. So, I can say it is really convenience.
    It is too expensive for the price I spent and it only last for less than ONE month.
    I will say to avoid it and find a better quality one for that price you going to spend.
